Directions
From I-64 East
Charleston direction – Exit 11)
- Take Exit 11 – Hal Greer Blvd (WV-10).
- Head north on Hal Greer Blvd toward Huntington.
- Turn left onto Washington Blvd.
- Turn left onto 12th Street.
- Turn right onto 13th Avenue.
- Turn left onto 8th Street and continue toward Ritter Park.
- Cross the 8th Street Bridge into Ritter Park.
- Follow the park roadway to McCoy Road.
- Continue on McCoy Road past the Ritter Park Rose Garden area.
- Turn onto Caldwell Road and follow it to the Ritter Park Amphitheater.
From I-64 West
(Kentucky/Ohio direction – Exit 8)
- Take Exit 8 – 5th Street East (WV-152/WV-527).
- Head north on 5th Street Rd (WV-152/527) toward Huntington.
- After about 1 mile, turn right onto South Blvd.
- Go 0.3 miles, then turn right onto McCoy Rd.
- Continue straight onto Caldwell Rd.
- After a short drive, follow the signs into the Ritter Park Amphitheater.
Approximately 4 minutes from the interstate.
IMPORTANT ROAD CLOSURE: The 12th Street Bridge at Ritter Park is closed for reconstruction. Drivers should not attempt to access the amphitheater via the normal 12th Street Bridge route. Instead, use the 8th Street Bridge and approach the amphitheater from the McCoy Road/Caldwell Road side. WVDOH specifically identifies the 8th Street Bridge route as the alternate access to the amphitheater, Rose Garden, and surrounding park facilities.

Leave the driving to us! The Funktafest Funky Bus will run continuously during Funktafest X, connecting Marshall University, Ritter Park and the festival grounds.

Ritter Park Amphitheater / Funktafest Entrance
The Funky Bus begins each loop at the John Marshall Statue and departs every 30 minutes. The bus will then stop at the Ritter Park Fountain when space is available before continuing to Funktafest.
If the bus fills at Marshall, it will proceed directly to Funktafest. After dropping off passengers, it will stop at the Ritter Park Fountain before returning to Marshall for the next scheduled departure.
Because Fountain and festival arrival times can vary slightly depending on ridership, those times should be considered approximate.
